Abstract :
The paper deals with the development of experimental techniques allowing the investigation of electric discharges and related physical phenomena in cryogenic liquids over a nanosecond temporal range. As well as providing all relevant high-voltage measurements in their entirety, the experimental arrangement also permits optical measurements in the visible and near ultraviolet regions to reconstruct spectrally parameters of the discharge-produced cryogenic plasma. Particular attention is given to a purpose-developed procedure for obtaining and processing voltage and current time dependencies synchronously with an accuracy of better than 1 ns
