Abstract :
A Lagrangian approach is used for the modeling of switch-regulated DC-to-DC power converters. A set of switched Euler-Lagrange (EL) parameters is proposed which recovers the individual EL formulations of the intervening circuit topologies for each particular switch position. Switched models of the “boost”, the “buck-boost”, and the “Cuk” converters circuits are systematically derived from the Lagrangian formalism
