  • Abstract
    Numerical simulation is investigated to acquire the resistance characteristic of combinatorial filter, which consists of front inertial stage, multi-layer gauge stage and behind inertial stage. The combinatorial filters are taken as integration for numerical simulation to acquire the resistance characteristics instead of the traditional method which obtains resistance characteristics by adding resistances of separate stages. The new method can reflect flow field better. Numerical results provide reasonable foundation for performance analysis and optimized design of the filter. By contrast between the resistance characteristic line basing on experimental data and numerical result in different condition, the high precision of the united simulation method is validated.
