Abstract
The embedded computer design alternatives available to engineering teams have been enriched by the appearance of single component computers. These devices allow for quick engineering turns, and capitalizing on the market window of opportunity. The ability to incorporate a fully functional computer into a custom design without having to become PC architects gives design teams significant leverage in the race to market
