  • Abstract
    Suitability evaluation of Land reclamation in mining area is the core of land reclamation, whose goal is to restore the land resources and local ecological balance. The optimum reclaimed direction is determined through qualitative and quantitative methods evaluating on destroyed and impacted lands, and finally achieve more efficient use of land. This paper analyzes the importance of suitability evaluation in land reclamation, and further describes the evaluation objects, evaluation methods and the major evaluation process of suitability evaluation. Some issues that claim attention in suitability evaluation are proposed. Our study is significant to environmental improvement and sustainable utilization for Land resources in mining area.
