Abstract :
The author tested space charge accumulation in the oil impregnated insulation paper for DC oil-filled cables, and found that polypropylene shows no resistivity reduction with time whereas kraft paper in polypropylene laminated paper (PPLP) does show some reduction. It is also revealed that degradation of insulation paper will be predictable by measurement of space charge
