Tourism industry will continuously meet the best era of swift growth and rapid expansion. However, the big contradiction between the daily increasing requirement of tourism area regulatory detailed plan and the phenomenon of "lack of theory, practice blind, remarkable difference" has been a big problem which restricts the sustainable development of tourism industry in our country. This paper creatively makes a comparative study on the background, conception, control features, object, tasks, objectives, indicators between tourism area and urban regulatory detailed plan, points out that tourism area regulatory detailed plan can not copy the state standard of urban regulatory detailed plan completely by comparison, and then sets up a control system of tourism area regulatory detailed plan based on the deep analysis on the relationship of planning and management, resource development and environmental protection. Finally, this paper conducts a thorough comparative analysis on the differences of the key indicators between the control system of tourism area and urban regulatory detailed plan, aiming to attract planning experts and academics\´ more attention, and to regulate and promote tourism area regulatory detailed plan to develop in a scientific and reasonable way.
