Abstract :
This paper presents a wireless video transmission equipment by cooperating hardware and software in wideband 2×2 MIMO-OFDM system. Hardware processes of wireless transmission in MIMO detection, MIMO-OFDM modulation/demodulation, error correction, and oversampling are implemented in a FPGA board. Software processes deal with video transmission in data buffering, streaming packet generation, and video encoding/decoding. We have considered an optimal scheme in both software and hardware implementations. Quality of MPEG-4 video transmission has been evaluated in the developed equipment.
