Abstract :
Packet-like space-charge behavior in low-density polyethylene under dc field was reported frequently. However, no reliable explanation for the space charge packet behavior was given out. In this paper, the influence of carrier mobility versus electric field on packet behavior was studied. Finally, a possible physical model like similar Gunn effect was given out to discuss the space charge packet behavior
