Abstract :
In this paper, AC breakdown (ACBD) properties of nano-Ag/epoxy resin composites were studied. The result shows that the ACBD strength value has a peak with the increase of Ag particles. This phenomenon can be explained by basic dielectric theories and Coulomb blockade mechanism. The ACBD strength values of the composites can be described by a Weibull distribution, and the Weibull parameters have a certain relationship with the amount of Ag particles in the composite
