Abstract :
The biology treatment process for the oil-containing wastewater of low concentration have produced by coal-to liquids was studied. COD, oil, NH3-N, SS removing effect of PACT and ordinary active sludge process were compared. The research results show that: when the experimental conditions are the COD between 108-172 mg/L, pH is 7, HRT is 10h, COD, oil, NH3-N, SS removing of rate ordinary active sludge process were 49%,50%46% and 32%, respectively. Comparing with the PACT after addition 0.5 g/L powder activated carbon(PAC)into bioreactor, the removing rate of COD, oil, NH3-N, SS were 75.5%,70%60% and 69%, respectively. Through the contrast test, the contaminant removal efficiency of PACT is obviously superior to the ordinary active sludge process, and the anti impact loading ability and subsidence performance of the active sludge was improved when adding PAC.
