  • Abstract
This paper is to present and discuss the analysis and assessment on the voltage stability impact of wind power integration into the power system. Grid connected wind turbines may affect the voltage stability in the system. Thus, voltage stability depends on the interaction between the wind turbines and the power system. Digital simulation studies are conducted to investigate the impact of wind power generation on the power system and the effect it has on voltage stability and whether it is within acceptable limits. Generally, the voltage variation limit is between ± 5 ߝ10%.
