Abstract
An improved three-phase auxiliary resonant snubber inverter suitable for high power AC motor drive applications is proposed. The topology is analyzed and the control strategies based on voltage space vector modulations are discussed. For practical implementation, three possible logical control strategies are discussed and simulated. The detailed simulation and experimental results indicate that zero-voltage operation during transitions can be achieved. To verify the proposed topology, the paper presents a comprehensive evaluation with theoretical analysis, simulation and experimental results
