Abstract
This article presents a current-mode square rooting circuit employing 2 multiple output current follower transconductance amplifiers (MO-CTFAs). The features of the proposed circuit are that; the magnitude of the output current can be linearly/electronically adjusted with wide input dynamic range; the output current is temperature-insensitive; the circuit description is very simple, consisting of merely two MO-CFTAs. Without any matching conditions and external passive elements, the proposed circuit is very appropriate to further develop into an integrated circuit. The PSpice simulation results are depicted. The given results agree well with the theoretical anticipation.
