  • Abstract
    A long-term accelerated aging test is conducted on the stator bar of 300 MW/18 KV generator by using a multi-factor aging test system which combines electrical, thermal and vibrational stresses. Under the multi-factor aging, the developing rule of the dielectric loss, partial discharge parameters and breakdown voltage of stator bar sample with aging time is investigated. Moreover the characteristic parameters used to assess the aging condition of stator insulation are stated, which provides a basis to predict the breakdown voltage of stator bar in generator
