Abstract :
In this paper we present a convex approach to the static output stabilization based on the constrained Lyapunov problem. The stability results obtained in this work complement, in a sense, those obtained by Galmidi and Barmish (1986). For plants with at least as many outputs as inputs, our approach is easily extended to the H2, H and the mixed H2/H problems via standard LMI techniques
