  • Abstract
    Schemes of key distribution and transport are analyzed for different key hierarchies of a pay-TV system, and the efficiency and the security of key management are further discussed. A novel key transport scheme using polynomials to reconstruct secret keys is provided based on the above key management schemes. The security of this novel scheme is proved to be better than that of others.
