Abstract :
The performance of block coding scheme based on complementary sequences, which allows coding gain and the reduction of the peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of multicarrier signals, is evaluated over frequency selective Rayleigh fading channel, employing the efficient soft decision decoding method. Above all, 8-carrier QDPSK and 8DPSK systems exhibit good performance in terms of bit error rate improvement, feasibility of practically optimal decoding with a moderate coding rate, and the resultant PAPR at most 3 dB
