Abstract :
A new dual-polarized microstrip antenna with high isolation is presented. The antenna consists of a square patch with an inserted diagonal rectangular slot is near one of the patch corners, two probe fed and a ground plane. The antenna is designed to operate at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. The experimental results have shown that, it has more than 30 dB isolation with a moderate antenna gain of 5.5 dBi over the impedance bandwidth of 8.3 %.
