            Abstract : 
Ad-hoc wireless networking with portable computers such as notebook PCs or PDAs will be one of solutions for face-to-face conferences without any paper based documents, view graphs and projectors. The proposed ad-hoc wireless LAN is based on code division multiplex at 2.4 GHz-band spread spectrum wireless LAN. This new system allows multiple ad-hoc groups hold conferences simultaneously. The concept of new system and experiments using our prototype is discussed
