Abstract
Atmospheric pressure nonequilibrium plasmas recently have made a remarkable progress in pollution abatement, disinfections, surface modification, biogas cleaning, etc. This paper will especially focus on a large improvement of dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) by combining it with fast high voltage pulses. Simulation results by Pspice showed the effect of pulse width, pulse rise time of power supply and dielectric capacitor on the characteristic of pulsed DBD. Without the resistance match network, the waveforms of voltage and current are oscillatory which is better to improve stability and efficiency
