Abstract :
A broadband patch antenna is presented for in this letter. It consists of two layers of substrate. The patch located at the top layer of the upper substrate for radiation while the ground plane located at the bottom layer of the lower one. Two differential L-probe are embedded in the lower substrate to obtain a wide impedance bandwidth (SWR <; 2) of 92.7%. Meanwhile, good radiation patterns are achieved with the cross-polarization is lower than -20dB across the operating bandwidth.
