Abstract :
In this paper, two kinds of CNT/TiO2 composites were synthesized by different sol-gel methods. Comparing to the TiO2/CNTs prepared by method 1 (Tetrabutyl titanate+CNT, H2O), the catalysts synthesized by method 2 (Tetrabutyl titanate, CNT+H2O) showed higher photocatalytic activity and the optimum content of CNT was 1%. Furthermore, diverse reactors were introduced to deal with methyl orange and phenol wastewater. Conform reactor was found as the optimum reactor for its direct irradiation and high ultrasonic energy efficiency. Sono-photocatalytic degradation is not only affected by the type of catalyst and reactor, but also can be affected by the species of the contamination.
