Abstract
The network value model for on-line communities provides a connection between information networks and social networks. As a result, the network value can be used as the parameter for evaluating the technologies which are needed in order to implement the social network over the information network. In this paper, the network value model given by Dr. Reed is modified by constraint factors resulting from network structure and human ability. A method of evaluating some technologies by using network value is also proposed
