Abstract :
In this paper, a broadband stacked patch antenna fed by F-probes and its array are proposed. The antenna element is composed of two stacked radiating patches, a grounded reflector and two orthogonally-placed pairs of F-probes which are connected to the 180 phase difference feeding network. Then a 4×1 array is designed and simulated. Both the antenna element and its array can achieve the slant ±45° dual polarization with 45% frequency band covering 1.71-2.69GHz. The design aims to supporting the mobile communication base station on DCS / PCS / UMTS / LTE2300 / LTE2500 bands, which is for the potential use in 2G/3G/LTE systems.
