Abstract :
The use of the Apple Macintosh II as a platform for scientific image processing is discussed. Software packages for a range of image-processing tasks are discussed. Sophisticated hardware subsystems are also discussed. Some applications of user interfaces are presented. Performance and cost considerations are compared and discussed.<>
