Abstract :
A novel planar antenna with slots for GPS/WLAN/UWB applications is presented in this paper. With three bands, the proposed antenna consists of a modified ground and a radiation path. For GPS L1, WLAN and UWB bands, several narrow strips and slots are etched into the radiation patch and ground plane to revise resonance paths. The antenna and ground can radiate simultaneously to improve the radiation efficiency. The simulated and measured results are in a good agreement.
