Abstract :
Located in mountainous area, the Three Gorges project has resulted in about 3000 high slopes due to the construction of large-scale resettlement and reconstruction. The stability of high slopes has a huge impact on the safety of residents in this area as well as their properties. Therefore, it is of paramount importance to develop a high slope monitoring and warning information system to implement high slope information management and provide early warnings of high slopes. This article introduces the development of Three Gorges Reservoir Area High Slope Monitoring and Warning Information System (district version) for high slope management, and the current practice of early warning applications.
