Abstract
This paper summarizes analyses showing that the integrity of the ITER first confinement barrier will be maintained during possible in-vessel loss of coolant events. Pressure behavior inside the vacuum vessel of ITER was investigated using the MELCOR broad range of in-vessel break sizes. The breaks were assumed to occur during both normal operation and bakeout
