Abstract :
At present, most pedestrian suspension bridges exist security risks and accidents on them occur frequently, to a great degree, this is because the choices of structural systems were unreasonable. Based on the field investigations on the damaged conditions and accidents of mountainous pedestrian suspension bridges, combining theoretical calculation and analysis, it is of directive significance for the construction of the similar bridges in the future to suggest mountainous pedestrian suspension bridges applying cable-truss structure systems.
