Abstract
Real-time implementations of two adaptive detection structures using the DSP56001 digital signal processor (DSP) are analyzed and tested. The normalized least-mean-square (NLMS) algorithm is utilized to implement the detection structures. Experimental results show that the new detection structure can increase the detection performance by decreasing the detection threshold in excess of -12 dB more than that of the conventional detection structure. Assembly code for the detector is also included.<>
