Abstract :
A mixed-signal simulation approach is presented where analog cells are characterized and modeled in Verilog. Transient simulations are performed by modeling the analog circuits in terms of an event driven forward Euler solver. The technique is applied to a hybrid algorithmic/successive approximation analog to digital converter and the results presented
