Abstract
A posture error compensation method of optical probe, which is installed with a PH10 rotating head for the scanning measurement of coordinate measuring machine (CMM), is presented in this paper. The error compensation mathematical model is derived from the least square fitting method and an optimization algorithm is applied to determine the optimal parameters. Through the experiments, the arithmetic´s accuracy and the calibration effectiveness of optical probe are proved.
