Abstract :
This paper applies the filtered-X LMS algorithm to active control of the tonal noises generated by periodic noise sources like rotating machines. The convergence analysis of a complex filtered-X LMS algorithm using two reference signals is investigated based on a state-space approach. Computer simulation is presented to illustrate the validity of the convergence analysis based on the state-space approach.
