Abstract :
The paper deals with implementation of voice, SMS and MMS services support into IVAS system. The IVAS system, part of the INDECT portal, is originally created for using communication services over Internet Protocol. It requires 3G mobile data networks represented by UMTS and higher speed technologies. In the case that end user is not operating in 3G area networks, paper brings solutions, how to provide communication between central office and end users of the IVAS system over 2G mobile data networks represented by GPRS or EDGE technologies.
