Abstract
Nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide has been synthesized by sol-gel method, using triethylamine as the nitrogen source. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron spectroscopy, and Raman scattering spectra are combined to determine the microstructures, crystal phase, grain size and shape of the materials with different calcination temperatures. It is found that the crystalline phase of the N-doped TiO2 nanomaterial transforms in a routine (amorphous-anatase-rutile) as the annealed temperature increased. Comparing to the undoped TiO2, the doping process improve on the crystalline phase and has effect on the grain size to some extent.
