Abstract :
The quality of product development is affected directly by the quality and efficiency of early stage evaluation and decision of product design scheme; therefore, it is necessary to transfer vague requirements information from customer perspective to design, quantity, and engineering data. In this paper, a model of quality function deployment (QFD) was established, aiming at solving the fuzziness and uncertainty of early stage product design scheme. α-cuts fuzzy weighted average method was used to solve the model to transfer customer requirements information to technology data objectively and accurately. This method was tested by empirical study in the end of this paper.
