Abstract :
This paper extends application of 2D Laplace transform (2DLT) as a frequency-domain tool for analysis and synthesis of communication systems. The fact that the signal and system characteristics are separable functions of time in such systems enhances the applicability of such powerful method and facilitates derivation of the frequency response function.
