  • Abstract
    A fast and accurate CAD model based on cavity model analysis is proposed in this paper for computing the input impedance of circular patch antenna operated in between 0.8 to 1.33 GHz. The proposed model is valid for vary large to very small value patch diameter with any feed position. The computed values of circular patch having different diameter with different feed locations are compared with different theories and experimental values available in open literature. The present model shows very close agreement with the previously reported experiment compared to the other theoretical models. This model is very fast and required less computation time.
