Abstract :
A single feed microstrip patch antenna is designed which consists of 3 concentric ring micro strip patches with a circular patch at their center on signal plane and a “T” shaped slot cut at ground plane. This proposed antenna is designed on PTFE substrate. It provides multiple resonanting frequencies at 1.06 GHz, 1.49 GHz, 2.11 GHz, and 3.01 GHz respectively with -10 db return loss bandwidth and aproximately 91% size reduction.
