Abstract :
Surface-confined molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) layers in the surface of mesoporous silica sphere (SBA-15) using atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) were prepared successfully. By taking SBA-15 microspheres as sacrificial material, MIPs we got had the complementary structure with SBA-15 microspheres and the special recognition sites were fixed in the surface of matrix materials in maximum. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Scanning probe microscopy (SPM), Infrared (IK) spectroscopy and UV-Vis Spectroscopy were used to study the structural morphology of MIPs and probe the incorporation of MIPs into the SBA-15 framework.
