Abstract :
A simple and very high speed approach for waveform generation is introduced. The VCO is very compact and versatile. It generates triangle and square waveforms. The VCO has a very wide range of oscillating frequencies (from fractions of Hz to 100MHz in 0.5mum CMOS technology). The amplitude of the oscillations can be very precisely controlled. Simulation results are shown that verify the characteristics of the proposed VCO
