Abstract
A modified SOC-algorithm is developed. In addition to the traditional deterministic controller performance evaluation also stochastic measures of the controller behaviour were used to meet acceptable performance. The adaptation feature was extended from conventional (e,Δe) rule base (PD-control) to integral action (I-control) creating an adaptive PD+I fuzzy controller. The algorithm was successfully implemented on a pilot-scale neutralisation process
