Abstract :
In this paper, the multivariable fuzzy control technique is applied to the combustion control of coke oven. After a short description of the functions of coke oven, a new multivariable fuzzy control strategy is put forward to deal with the complex industrial system, with the following features: 1) generalization and simplicity of the control rules; and 2) the adaptive ability. The operating performance results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed technique, and the developed fuzzy automation system has been proven as a well-functional SCADA software package
