Abstract :
The paper is concerned with fuzzy relational model identification. Two methods are proposed to estimate the parameters of such models. The first one is an optimization based methodology which uses sequential procedures of quadratic programming to refine models previously estimated by other methods. From this methodology, a recursive algorithm is derived. This algorithm is suitable for online identification. Two examples care presented using classical dynamic systems to illustrate the performance of the proposed methods
