Abstract :
The electronic diver paging system (EDPS) is a system designed to fill a niche between currently existing underwater communication products. The EDPS allows the convenience of modern day electronics, but the system costs much less than vocal communication products. It provides both a notification signal, indicating that the receiving diver should look at the transmitting diver, and a distress signal for life threatening situations
