  • Abstract
In order to explore effective ways to improve the performance and ensure the success of BPR, the paper puts forward a conceptual model and 4 hypotheses describing the relationship between the capability of IT (information Technology) and BPR. Factor Analysis, Correlation Analysis, Multiple Linear Regression, Canonical Correlation Analysis and One-Way ANOVA are as well as the SPSS13.0 statistical software is used to test the hypotheses. The relationship between BPR and the capability of IT is concretely revealed; it preliminarily explored how contextual factors (for example, the size of the enterprise) influence role which the capability of IT plays in BPR. The result showed that four factors of the capability of IT play positive roles in the success of BPR, various factors influence BPR differently, and there wasn´t a significant difference in the depth of implementing BPR among enterprises in different size.
