Abstract :
Based on the relevant theory of gas discharge, a numerical model of gas discharge tube is established. This method is a combination of plasma particle in cell (PIC) simulation method with Monte Carlo method. Through simulating the physical process in which plasma is formed by Ne which discharges in direct current, the author discussed the physical mechanism of gas forming plasma through discharging. The simulated result is in exact accordance with theoretical analysis.
