  • Abstract
    Three-dimensional (3D) anthropometric data can be obtained more easily in the last decades, and numerous applications can be realized by using 3D data. However, how to manage large scale 3D database is a most challenging task yet. In this paper, an information management system of 3D anthropometric data using GLScene, a Delphi open source widget based on OpenGL technique, was proposed. The data was drawn from the first national 3D anthropometric survey of Chinese minors, conducted by China National Institute of Standardization. Also landmark manual identification and measurement automatic extraction were implemented. The measurements are in accordance with the definitions of ISO7250.
