Abstract :
Aiming at CAD/CAPP/CAM integration techniques based on STEP and the integrated CAPP system, some research and discussion have been done. Meanwhile, future development trends for integration systems are put forward also. An integrated system (THWDPM) for prismatic parts is given to expound the object-oriented design technique for an integrated system and the approach to achieve integration by using a commercial CAD/CAM software package
